Department Description:
Oracle Application Labs (OAL) builds and manages mission critical applications that run the Oracle Cloud. A part of the Engineering organization, OAL is fundamentally focused on the enabling the transformation to the Cloud including the application areas of CPQ, Quote to Cash, Service Provisioning, Order Management, Subscription Plan Management, Customer Lifecycle Management, Usage and Billing, Cloud Store, Tenant Management, Partner Store and others. In all, these solutions are an integral part of Oracle Public Cloud Strategy and is a new paradigm for software development in a fast paced development environment.
Position description:
As a member of the team, you will be responsible for planning, developing and executing both automated and manual test scripts to support the Cloud Framework. This will include the developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. You will also develop and execute software automation test scripts and analyze and write test standards and procedures. You will maintain documentation of test results and analyze test results and recommend corrective actions.
Preferred Background
· 1-8 years of hands on experience in Designing and Developing scalable and maintainable Automation tests, preferably with Selenium/OATS (Oracle Automated Test S)
· BS or MS degree in Computer science or equivalent
· Expertise in designing and implementing automated Java based system and/or unit tests
· Expertise in testing and automating REST Web Services
· Experience with Cucumber or similar Behavior Driven Development Tools
· 1-8 years of experience in working in a team of quality engineers
· Experience in test case authoring and manual testing
· Familiar with different kinds of testing and test coverage techniques
· Familiar with QA processes and the SDLC (Software Development Life cycle).
· Experience with multi-layer enterprise applications like Quoting, Store, Order Management, Provisioning, Contracts
· Experience with bug tracking, test case management systems, and source control systems
· Expertise in Database, SQL, and other tools
· Working knowledge of HTML, XML, JSON, JavaScript is a plus
· Experience testing SAAS applications is a plus
· Must be a strong team player, detail oriented, self-motivated and perform well under pressure
· Experience as a member of a scrum team is a plus
