Manages a team supporting and/or implementing software project(s) and/or internal systems. Defines, documents and manages scope, expectations, implementation approach, deliverables and acceptance testing criteria.

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas or sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Successful track record in applications implementation and as a manager. Expert knowledge of all applications within a business area; plus some knowledge of other applications. BA/BS degree preferred.

We are looking for an Senior Manager for our India Cloud Operations organization to manage Oracle Construction Intelligence Cloud Service suite on OCI. As part of this role you are expected to guide, develop & manage team of senior engineers, and ensuring deliverables for multiple customer accounts as part of 7x24x365 delivery function. This role also expects you to bring significant experience with production operations management, including ITIL change management practices, incident response, root cause analysis techniques and high quality corrective action plans. You should also have experience working with customers to understand their business and project objectives and help customers succeed through solid communication, operational excellence, and innovative views of how to deliver services with the highest impact. 

The position will require for the individual to work off-hours and weekends at times to assist in customer escalations and Duty Management coverage as required on rotational basis.

Total Experience - 15+ Years with 7+ years of Production support Manager experience / Operations leadership experience.
Qualificaton: Bachelor's / Post Graduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent. 

  • Experience managing teams consisting of applications or systems engineers & application administrators.
  • Experience in managing modern Cloud Native applications has technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, serverless functions, APIs, and Kafka.
  • Experience in usage log analyzing and monitoring tools (kibana, Grafana) 
  • Exposure to system management monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus,Oracle Enterprise manager)
  • Experience in Managing Applications on Modern Cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, AZURE, GCP)
  • Experience in working with Data Analytics related Applications.
  • Good analytical skills for troubleshooting problems, especially from remote locations. 
  • Ability to listen and communicate clearly with different areas of the business 
  • An understanding of production management process such as ITIL and CMMI
  • Sound knowledge and experience of TCP/IP networking. 
  • Willingness to proactively engage in continuous process improvement. 
  • Ability to communicate technical issues to business leaders as well as to communicate business drivers to engineers.
  • Experience in running or supporting business critical application environments in a large enterprise.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully leading in a 24/7/365 environment.
  • Proven analytical abilities and using data/facts for decision-making.
